What's New at IBEW 1205
We regretfully inform you that Letcher Worley passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 21st. He was a member of the EDBF and has been assigned number 121.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 PM on October 27th, at the Gainesville-Hawthorne Hunting Club. This will be a casual dress potluck style picnic for all those wishing to honor Letcher’s memory with family and friends. Letcher’s family is providing the main dish but asks those planning to attend to bring a dish to share and chairs. Kindly RSVP to the hall by 10/24/18 so they have an idea of how many to expect.
Letcher joined Local 1205 in November of 1973, graduated from the JATC in 1976, and worked his career as an Inside Journeyman Wireman prior to joining the office staff of IBEW 1205 as the Assistant Business Agent and dispatcher in 2005. Even after his retirement in October of 2013, Letcher remained on the Apprenticeship committee and was active with the Local’s Retirees Club and regularly attended fishing tournaments and Labor Day Picnics. Letcher’s dedication and commitment to both the Local and to the electrical trade will certainly be missed. We offer our deepest sympathies to his family.
